So, here we are in Whistler for the weekend of our 9th anniversary... Just outside the Roundhouse restaurant/gondola station on Whistler Mountain, Tony finds that the resort has modeled a new statute after him…

Actually it's an Inuit figure called an inukskuk and is, according to the Whistler paper, is NOT meant to mimic Inanaaq the emblem of the 2010 Olympics...

Funny thing we found an even bigger one atop Whistler Peak, which we both posed by for a picture. Seeing as the Inuit people never made it this far south from the Arctic, and seeing as everyone has been complaining that the Olympic logo is rather odd, the resemblance (to the logo, not Tony) and sudden appearance of the figures is rather surprising for something not intended to "mimic" it..
